GripLite® S6 hygiene hand instruments are designed with the hygienist in mind. Featuring a soft, comfortable grip on a stainless steel handle, the GripLite S6 instruments are one of the lightest and most ergonomical stainless steel instruments on the market. The lightweight, wider diameter stainless steel handle helps reduce hand and wrist fatigue, while the ergonomically designed grip provides excellent tactile feel. GripLite S6 instruments have a unique anti-roll feature which prevents instruments from rolling when placed on trays. The color coded grips identify each instrument family while color coded rings allow for instrument personalization.

With razor-sharp, wear-resistant points instruments maintain their edge, and as with any Miltex product, the GripLite S6 hand instruments are backed by a guarantee against material defects and workmanship (does not apply to normal wear).

FAQs

Can the GripLite S6 Instruments be sterilized?
- Yes, the GripLite S6 Instruments can be sterilized by most of the conventional cleaning and sterilizing methods. The instruments must not be subjected to temperatures above 300º F (149º C), dry heat sterilization and sterilization chemicals that contain phenols or idophors. (High temperatures, phenols and idophors can have adverse affects on the grips of these instruments.)
Will the grip colors fade with sterilization?
- The grips are made of silicone and due to the nature of silicone; the color may fade after repetitive sterilization cycles.
Can the tips be replaced?
- Miltex does not recommend re-tipping instruments.
How long will the instruments stay sharp?
- Depending upon the number of times an instrument is used, how much the instrument is used, and other varying factors determine how long an instrument will stay sharp. Miltex recommends sharpening your instruments between patients or use.
