Dedicated to the advancement of veterinary dentistry since 1981, Carol Weldin, RDH, BS, in conjunction with Miltex, Inc., has assembled a comprehensive periodontal kit for routine prophylaxis procedures.  She has specifically selected each instrument and accessory for the varying length and shapes of tooth structures, accessibility to anterior and posterior teeth, sulcus depths, diversity of patients, and ease of instrument care and maintenance.

The WELDIN Periodontal Instrument Kit provides the clinician with both diagnostic and working instruments for companion animal patients, a sharpening stick to test the sharpness of hand instruments, sharpening stones to maintain the life of the hand instruments, all of which are conveniently organized in a Miltex® stainless steel sterilization cassette system.   

GripLite S6   Hygiene Hand Instruments feature razor-sharp, wear-resistant tips, which, through a unique manufacturing and heat treating process maintain their edges longer than most competitor tips.  Each hand instrument grip in the WELDIN Periodontal Instrument Kit is color coded to coincide with a color-coded periodontal chart that can aid in identifying where each instrument is used throughout the oral cavity.
