The VibraJect and VibraJect R3 are dental needle accessory devices.  The small, easy-to-use vibrating dental needle accessory is an effortless way to make patients of all ages more comfortable and eliminates the fear of injections.  The VibraJect reduces the discomfort of painful palatal, mandibular block, infiltration, and intraligamental injections, while offering a great deal of emotional relief to needle-phobic and the unusually pain-sensitive patients.

VibraJect reduces pain from dental injections based upon the Gate Control Theory of Pain Management.  The battery operated motor clips onto a conventional syringe and when turned on, the motor vibrates thus causing the needle to vibrate.  The high frequency vibration of the needle stimulates nerve endings, causing the high frequency nerve cells to block the transmission of low frequency pain sensing nerve cells to the brain.  Thus the patient’s body senses vibrations not the pain of the injection. 

VibraShield is a simple and economical needle capping protector that meets all OSHA requirements.  VibraShield is placed over the dental needle cap and used to help prevent needle sticks during recapping.  Dental professionals should keep their fingers on the VibraShield while recapping the needle.  This helps keep their hands and fingers away from the needle.  A VibraShield can be used throughout the day but must be wiped down with a disinfectant between patients.  At the end of the day it should be discarded.

• Can I use VibraJect for all dental injections?
  • VibraJect can be used during all types of dental injections.  It is especially effective in relieving the pain experienced with palatal, mandibular block, infiltration and intraligamental injections.  VibraJect is also effective for single tooth anesthesia using the Buccal Furca PDL Technique.  It has been proven effective with children 5 years old and older. 
• Is VibraJect autoclavable?
  • Yes, the clip brackets are designed to remain attached to the syringe during the sterilization process.  The motor housing and batteries cannot be heat sterilized, doing so voids the warranty.  The motor should be wiped down after use. 
• Can I order extra clip brackets for VibraJect?
  • Yes, the clip brackets can be purchased through your dealers in a pack of 3, Part number VJCB-3. 
• How long do the standard batteries last (non-rechargeable batteries)?
  • VibraJect uses 1.5 volt button-type batteries, which last for approximately 50 -75 injections per set.  Once you notice the motor beginning to slow down, you will need to change batteries.
• How long will the rechargeable batteries hold their charge?
  • The batteries should hold their charge for an entire week. It is recommended that you exchange the battery the first of each week for maximum performance.    
• How long should I charge the rechargeable batteries for the first time?
  • It is best to let new batteries charge overnight.  The orange indicator light indicates the batteries are charging.  The light will turn to green when the batteries are charged. 
• Can I order this product directly from you?
