(“Integra”), was acquired by Integra in 2006.

Integra Miltex was originally founded as E.
Miltenberg, Inc., in New York City in 1890 as a
trading company and importer. Encouraged by the
success of its medical instrument division, in
1950, E. Miltenberg, Inc. formed Miltex Instrument
Company to offer instruments to the medical and
dental professions. In 2001, Miltex formally
became Miltex, Inc. and acquired the assets of the
dental supplies business of Moyco Technologies,
Inc., including dental instruments and supplies
sold under the Moyco Union Broach and Thompson
brand names. In September of 2003, after over 50
years of being located in New York, Miltex, Inc.
successfully completed relocating its corporate
headquarters from Bethpage, NY to York, PA where
Moyco Technologies was located. In 2010, Miltex,
Inc. became Integra York PA, Inc., an entity which
is known commercially as Integra Miltex.
For more than 50 years, Integra Miltex has
established itself as the largest and most
respected supplier of hand-held surgical
instruments in the alternate site market. Unique
among its competitors, Integra Miltex, through
Miltex GmbH in Rietheim-Weiltheim, Germany, has
maintained valued relationships with the finest
instrument manufacturers in the world. To ensure

Miltex has achieved certification to ISO 13485,
and many Integra Miltex products are also CE
Certified.
